PayFacto is looking for well-organized students with a high attention to detail to support many of our departments, including Boarding, Risk & Compliance, and Business Development. This is a full-time opportunity during the summer, with opportunity for part-time work during the school year. This is a great opportunity for the younger members of our society to gain some working experience and learn about the workplace first-hand, as well as to strengthen their technical and interpersonal skills in preparation for their future entry to the workforce. Not to mention – a great opportunity to earn good money!

 

This role requires fluency in English and French (written and verbal), intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of MS Excel, familiarity with MS Office programs, and a (potentially not-yet-discovered) passion for data entry!

In your role you will be responsible for :

 

  • Analyze merchant applications;
  • Perform merchant account setup configurations and modifications and follow up with necessary departments or merchants depending on the inquiry;
  • Prepare and evaluate financial reconciliations and reporting;
  • Undertake investigations escalated by the merchant services team;
  • Support the team with the process design, the mapping of processes and maintaining key procedures;
  • With the growth of the department; project management, tracking and reporting on key activities and projects will be supported through teamwork;
  • Work closely with other departments, external partners to respond to both internal and external inquiries, provide updates and quickly resolve issues;
  • General data entry;
  • Other tasks as required.

 

Essential Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • You are 16 years of age or older
  • You are client-focused, task-oriented, with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • You demonstrate a strong work ethic necessary to succeed in a fast-moving, competitive and results-driven environment.
  • You are a solid team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • You enjoy multi-tasking and can work well under pressure.
  • You are proficient in MS Office.
  • You are proficient to advanced in MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are perfectly bilingual English/French, both written and spoken.
