Terminals | Quality Assurance Analyst

Overall description

Reporting to the Director of Development, the QA Analyst is responsible for quality assurance in terms of developed applications for payment terminals. He sets out testing strategies, develops scenarios, drafts and carries out test scripts as well as analyzes results according to set deadlines and required quality standards.

Job description :

  • To assess and identify project quality assurance needs following the requirement analysis.
  • To determine testing strategies and elaborate a testing scenario according to the required development.
  • Depending on the testing scenario, to draft scripts for a new project, a malfunction change or correction in order to reflect required specifications.
  • To run testing scripts and report test results.
  • To analyze results and transfer them to the development service for correction purposes.
  • To report and follow up on malfunction in the malfunction management system.
  • To support the project manager when customers report malfunctions are provided in the production environment. To reproduce the problem in the acceptance environment and provide developers with feedback so they can perform necessary adjustments.
  • To validate literature prepared by developers and prepare documentation for customers.
  • To maintain the required tools in good working order for proper testing scenario purposes.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office application suite.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Asset: Comprehension of the transactional financial environment.
  • Asset: Knowledge of EMV.
  • Asset: Understanding of payment terminals.
  • To show rigor, autonomy, and sound judgment.
  • Relevant experience in quality assurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
