Quality Assurance Analyst

Job description

 

Reporting to the Director of QA, the Quality Assurance analyst participates in the development and execution of test scenarios to ensure the quality and performance of the payment system. This position will be based out of the Repentigny office, although Nun’s Island is an option if frequent attendance in Repentigny can be accommodated.

In your role you will be responsible for :
  • Write test scenarios;
  • Execute test cases;
  • Conduct functional testing, integration and regression testing;
  • Perform Certification testing with payment networks;
  • Document and analyze results;
  • Document and track issues;
  • Work closely with the development team to solve problems;
  • Configure and maintain test environments.

 

As our ideal candidate:
  • Highly motivated self-starter, who works well under minimal supervision;
  • Relevant experience in quality assurance;
  • Work under pressure in a dynamic environment;
  • Knowledge of HP NonStop operating systems;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Good verbal and written communication (English-French);
  • Knowledge of full system life cycles;
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools;
  • Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and structured test methodology;
  • Development experience in test scripts, execution and reporting also required.
